DESCRIPTION:
Sextants- 2 (Two) Hughes & Son Boxed Sextants: Hughes & Son Ltd., London, 6.5 inch radius sextants, pierced metal frames with black crinkle finish, signed brass arcs with inset silvered scales with graduations reading 0-130, micrometer drum, illuminated indices, multiple shades for horizon and index mirrors, sighting scopes, and black plastic handles, all in finger-jointed felt-lined mahogany boxes with paper certificates.
CONDITION:
both with clean certificates of serviceability from the Royal Canadian Naval Armament Depot dated 1962. Instruments appear to be mostly complete, but both sets have few empty accessory locations within the case. Very good overall condition. Dimensions are for wood carrying case. Sold "as is ".
